So I made it through the weekend without ANY splurges. Everything was within my targets. I mean, i did have a few things I prob shouldn't of had but everything was within my targets. I was very active this weekend as well. I walked alot and did stuff around the house for many hours so that is good. I'm not sure if i would call it straight up exercise, but at least I was moving around. It was so freaking hot here this weekend and we don't have central air, only window units, so I prob sweated off most of my weekend weight loss.

I have had a headache for a few days now. Yuck. I'm hoping this doesn't turn into one of my marathon migraines. I haven't had one in a few months and I was *hoping* they were gone. Keeping my fingers crossed this will pass.

My mom saw my FB post about my 50 lb loss and told me she wants to take me shopping when she comes to visit this weekend. While it was so nice of her to offer, I just don't think I want to go. I told myself I can have a few new things when I reach my 299 goal. ( I also get brand new hair, nails and feather extensions. YAY! My partner actually insisted on this. She wanted me to go NOW but I want to wait) I'm just anti-clothes right now. I guess I'm just worried when i try them on, my sizes won't go down or I will look horrible. Sizing is always crazy anyway as NOTHING is ever the same in stores. With me being really tall and well-endowed in the chest area, i ALWAYS have issues anyway. So yeah, no shopping for me. LOL...it stresses me out just THINKING about it.

I feel really good having made it through the weekend without throwing my carbs out of wack. I was even able to have sugar free ice cream and stay under 50 grams. This week my focus is getting my cals up and making sure I stay active. There is a tanning salon about a mile away and I'm thinking of getting a package so I will have to walk there. LOL. yes I have to bribe myself.

Hey I make deals with myself all the time, & sometimes they involve food, lol! I have been known to purposely eat super low-fat & low-carb the entire day just so I can have 1 serving of jalapeno kettle chips. If I can still meet my targets for the day, why not? I used to have migraines a lot too, turned out they were stress-induced & fortunately I was able to get that resolved. I do recall that being dehydrated seemed to contribute to them though, so make sure you're drinking your water. Esp since it's so hot. Don't get ahead of yourself with the clothes shopping thing. How about you wait until she comes to decide if you want to go or not? In the meantime, you could come up with alternatives for her to treat you with, like the hair & nails & stuff. I agree the clothes thing can be anxiety-producing, but at the same time, wearing something in the appropriate size makes you look & feel so much slimmer. I don't think you have anything to worry about. And don't freak out about sizes either. When I was a 28, I could pick up a size 28 anything anywhere & know it would fit. Now, I have no idea what size I really am because I can wear a 16 in one thing & a 22 in another. It's redonkulous.

Keep it up! Maybe let your mom take you to get a new top or something that makes you feel good. I am sure that after 50 pounds you will notice a difference in your clothes! You deserve something new and pretty!

I had the same phobia with clothes but when I finally went and got a new dress it was sooooooo rewarding just to buy something cute. If it's not fun after the first store you can always go for the shoe dept! What kind of sugar free ice cream do you eat? All of them that I have found seem to be loaded with carbs. Then again I haven't looked too hard. The ice cream aisle is still evil. lol

I agree with Kat. Clothing sizes are all over the place. Randomly bought two 1x shirts yesterday, one fit perfect, and the other swamped me and will have to be returned to the store. I still have a few 3x clothes I wear, some 1x, some 2x, sizes are kinda all over the place. But new clothes always make me feel happy, slimmer, and sexier! Hair and nails are an Excellent reward. New shoes for running was one of my rewards too awhile back. :)

Maybe get your mom to buy you new work out clothes! They always motivate me to work out! Its like you get to wear a new outfit but you have to exercise to wear it or maybe just a new sports bra or something. Yesterday I didnt want to exercise, my bf worked all day and I had hung out with my mom so when he got home at 4 I just wanted to sit around with him. I had put my work out clothes on first thing when I woke up, wore them all day, but didnt want to exercise. My boyfriend ended up falling asleep on the couch and I went walking. Having my workout clothes on reminded me I has planned to exercise and no matter how bad I didnt want to I should so I did.

Way to go on staying with in your targets this weekend!!! I get marathon migrains as well (I had one last me almost 2 weeks not that long ago) so hopefully you don't have that happen! As for the clothes, I have found the the same as Kat and Jada, I have some 1X stuff I still fit into and some Mediums and some larges - it can be very frustrating but I took advice from TLD's what not to wear and don't look at the tags anymore I just buy what is flattering on me... New hair and nails is an awesome reward, I have new shoes as one of my rewards.

Thank you so much everyone! Kat~ I reward myself with food sometimes too, but I'm trying to look for other things like tanning. I do the same thing when I want something special to eat, I will make sure I have left over carbs or cals. LOL. I have always had issues with clothes. I think maybe going will be good for me. Even if it sucks, I need to get over my anxiety. Tatgirl~ I usually have carb smart bars or slim bears sugar free klondike bars. Those have lower cals and carbs then most sugar free ice creams. Still kind of high though. Pixi~ I have terrible migraines sometimes. I hate it. I have been to the Dr a million times and all they do is put me on pills that screw with me. They have gona down quite a bit with my new eating lifestyle. I honestly think this one is because of the heat and low cals. I hope you don't get one of those 2-weeker ones anytime soon. thise are the worst! Jada~Alli~ Thank you so much for the comments! I'm def going to go if she still wants to when she gets here. =)
