Oh man... this weekend...

We had a great friend we hardly ever get to see come up and spend the second half of Spring Break with us. I didn't even bother counting calories, and had no time to workout. I did follow my Party YOLO rules, though. That means I can eat whatever I want and not record it, but I still have to be mindful of what I'm eating and how much of it. So when he made nachos with chorizo, kale, avocado, and ground turkey, you bet I ate the hell out of it. It was amazing!

I had I think 3 cans of soda over the weekend, too. I've been trying to cut it out as much as I can, other than the occasional one to kill the caffeine headache, but it just felt like too much. It didn't even taste that good, so I don't know why I drank them anyway.

But back on the wagon again starting today. I probably won't weigh in this week until around Thursday, when I can get myself back on track and shake off any excess I put on over the weekend. But it was a great weekend, so much fun, so maybe in the end it was worth it. ^_^

Good times with good friends are important. A little cheat here and there won't kill you, and is actually good for you. It's easier to get back on track when you are in a good place mentally, and you are there.
