Well, I made myself work out today. I know that today wasn't a great day to work out for me. I didn't feel really motivated, but I made myself. I am pushing myself to get down to 250, as my first short-term goal. I will be down 50 ibs. then. After that, I can look forward to dropping 50 more pounds. I am so excited, I have to say! I am strictly watching my lifestyle change. I just feel so empowered! I know we can all do this, whatever your weight loss goal is :)

Can you explain the workout calories to me?

Well, I know that in order to burn a pound, you must burn 3,500 cal. I can't really go into much detail about it (sort of don't know how to explain it). A pound is equivalent to 3,500 cal. :) I'll see if I can find an article for you. I am taking in 1200-1500 cal. per day :) I sometimes fall beneath that bracket around 800-1,000 cal, but typically it's 1200-1500.

I would definitely recommend everydayhealth.com. It's a great site and covers numerous health topics. They have many different articles explaining calories and how you can make them work for you. Definitely do not take in too few. You will deprive yourself and you'll feel hungry. Their articles will explain to you how many calories to take in :)...
