I am going to do a little venting, and yes it is the same old thing. I already know that it is my fault and I am the one to change it. As of Sunday, I weighed 206.4 I went to the gym yesterday and (with shame) I weighed 210.6 when I left I weighed 209.4 . As I look at my food intake and what I have been eating it is no wonder, I was almost not gonna come clean, but for my sake I had to.
My hair is starting to fall out, I am gaining pounds by the day, stressed, and depressed. I made an appointment with my doctor for next Wed. Hopefully I can start fresh with a new game plan.
I honestly did not mention those things to get sympathy, I just wanted to vent, and I know that you all will still support me. I am ready to give up, BUT I will not let it win the battle.

Is there a chance you have PCOS? (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) The hair loss makes me wonder.

Good thought about the PCOS... thyroid and adrenals will do the same. Ask doc to do labs.

People stop getting on the scales constantly. Getting in shape is tough and you must set some strict plans. All it takes is a correct diet, effective workout, only then you can believe in what your doing is going to get you there (this is the believe in yourself). There is no winning battles here. If you want it, you will get it. Just hire someone that knows proper nutrition and training. No excuses about my body is this way, my metabolism is that, or all the non sense. Sherrie, start fresh by going on Google and study how the body burns fuel and what foods slow down metabolism, and what the benefits of fat burning workouts are. I guarantee you, you'll be much more clear and get back to the shape you want to be.

I want to second the weighing yourself all the time, scales they do lie. What is in that number can throw so many of us into sabotage to give up, evil numbers! I only try to weigh once a week and I am trying to break that habit and learn how to do it by how my body feels. I do measure though and it has shown improvement towards my loss. If anything for me to stay on track I have been trying to learn to focus on the positives and it helps me so much when I do. I know I have tons more energy now, and feel much better, and that to me is a positive reward in its self. Please don't give up Sherrie.

Sherrie, I couldn't help but see you say your hair is falling out. I'm glad to hear you're seeing the doc next week. If hair is falling out and your gaining weight despite your efforts, have you ever had your thyroid checked? Those are symptoms of hypothyroidism (sluggish thyroid & metabolism). You could have doc run blood tests on your T3 & T4-those will confirm thyroid disorder. A regular TSH test will always test in a 'normal' range and not be accurate of what's really going on with your thyroid. Just speaking from personal experience!
