Good morning Shrewd, hope you have a very productive workday. To a certain extent, having more work than you can finish is job security. Unless, of course, they decide that you're just too damn slow. (But I'm sure that isn't you). 😁 

Shrewd, I think you should ask for a raise and an assistant. If you never ask, then the answer is automatically "no." If you do ask there's a good chance the answer is yes, plus you show them you know your worth. Go in armed with figures showing the increase in your workload over time. Others will not value you unless you value yourself. Go get 'em! 

shirfleur 1 Shirfleur,💕 you’re right on the money, or no money.😁 I am the only one that knows how to do my job, but since we now have so many other warehouses and store fronts to take care of it’s becoming impossible. I have to touch every single piece of paper made by all the warehouses, and deal with them in various ways. I have slowed down for it’s almost impossible to get everything done now in a month. I need to ask for a raise, but being behind doesn’t give me confidence about it. I know one thing if I was to outright quit it would take 2 1/2 people at least to do my job. I do it all. I don’t mind, I like it, it makes time fly, but I just wanna be done in a month with a month’s worth of work! It’s honestly so discouraging at times. Takes forever to fix other people’s problems.🙃 All the reports I do are reports I have generated and provided in the past. Now I wish I never did.😁🤣 Wishing you well my friend!❤️

I have a big glass too, more like a keg, and would like a somewhat smaller one as it would be easier to be half full. LOL.  

Every time someone calls you a bit chubby, smile and cut them a piece of cake while offering them a middle finger 😏😉 

Tell them you need a raise and and assistant if you are going to continue to perform miracles. I worked or was on call 24/7 for years. I also created the Job description. When I retired parts of my job went to 3 different departments and none of the 4 people hired to do what was left of my job have lasted more than a a few months. They were trying to fill that with 2 people at a wage higher than what I was making. Kinda feeling a little dumb. Don't short sell yourself! You're the Hope Diamond in today's labor pool!

Morticia, 😁 I am starting to really drink my huge waters again. They’re in a 30 ounce tumbler and I drink three of them a day and that’s when I feel my healthiest. Why I stopped doing it is beyond me. 🙃 No half fulls either.👍😊

SLYONE, everything you said is so true! I know what I’m doing would take 2 1/2 at least people and I’m the one that created all the reports that have to be done. As you said, I know absolutely, the people hired would be lured in by high pay! it’s a bit frustrating that they just don’t say wow you’re doing a wonderful job let’s give you higher pay.🤣 It’s against every bone of a business to do that. So I must come up with every way possible to strike, asking for a raise. Not letting them bring me down to a pay they want to give me by some quote, like you’re at top of your pay scale. 👎🤮 (maybe for a janitor)🤣 Thank you for inspiration!👍🌺☀️
