I will be gone camping with 1,600 of my closest friends from Friday the 10th until Sunday the nineteenth. I will not have computer access. I will miss FS a lot while I am gone. See you all Monday the 20th. Hugs!!!

Thanks Stef. Smithville Lake, north of KC. It IS a little like Woodstock. LOL. There will be archery and sword battles. There will be a whole village of merchants selling medieval and modern wares. There will be classes on history and crafts of the middle ages. There will be campfires with music and belly dancing. There will be medieval ballroom dancing and feasts and parties (with lots of booze for those who like it). There will be a Viking ship and swimming in the lake. And, there will be lots of sweaty, smelly people dressed in tunics and kilts. There are cold showers, but by mid-morning, in this heat, it won't make a whole lot of difference. Hehe. I usually do have a great time, but it's getting harder as I age. At least this year I will be carrying almost 70 lbs less around with me. :-)
