Herbie's Journal, 13 February 2015

I had a pretty good day in terms of both food and exercise. I ran with a friend and ended up logging over 13,000 steps today. We ran pretty slowly, but I felt really good afterwards. We have been running once or twice a week for several months now and I am finally starting to feel like it's making a difference in terms of my stamina. I'm really glad about that. Of course, I did some ab exercises earlier in the week and again yesterday and those were pretty hard on my flabby abs. Ouch! There is a lot of progress that could be made on that front. :)

I've decided to keep my food and exercise logs in the fitbit app, instead of here, just because part of that info is automatically logged for me by the device. I am more confident in the accuracy and it seemed silly to log it in two places.

Good for you! I have to take encouragement from your running experience. I have been running too for the past few weeks, but it is such drudgery! I seem pathetically slow and I have to alternate with walking in order to keep my breath. Sounds like I just need to hang in there a while longer. Keep up the good work! :)
