T-minus 13 Days until I start the new job :-D. I sat down and made a budget for my projected new income so I don't get into a spending frenzy and shop my way into new debt and two-year contracts.
I was afraid that the magic would be gone if I put the budget to paper, and I was right. It was definitely that moment when a dream becomes reality; it is still amazing and fantastic yet not as dazzling and brilliant. Paper has a way of doing that.
Now, I'm in "knowledge is power" mode. I know the illusion behind the magic trick. Now, it's time to use what I know and what I've been through to my advantage!
I'm not going to get a new car right away. I'm going to get a new bike first while I pay off two of my top priority debts. My mom has been trying to give me her car for a long time now so she can have an excuse to get a new vehicle too. I just texted her and told her that I'm open to taking it in a few months.
It's going to feel so good to get around on a bike again. I'm already seeing great physical progress from being a dietary vegan. Maybe there's a duathlon in my future?
I'm looking forward to my next weigh in since it will be post-period. I did hop on the scale just to see if being raw vegan did anything for me in the short three days that I gave it a try. There wasn't any change of note for those three days.
Alright, time to read through my termination package and take care of some other side items today. I took all of my personal items home yesterday so they are out of the way. The clock it ticking down.
