SherrieC's Journal, 05 January 2015

Good Morning Everyone, I have a confession to make. Yesterdays food intake was horrible, and I went way over. The only good thing that I can say about it is, when it is later in the evening I am not craving sweets as much. I even brushed my teeth, and about 1/2 hour later I was craving cottage cheese. Of course, I am to lazy to put some in a bowl and eat it, so I eat it out of the container (which is so wrong). By the time I look down I have only a few bites left and I just can't stop until it is gone.

Anyway, I am still here and still struggling, but I feel I am getting closer to where I was when I first started this journey (if that makes any sense). Have a great day everybody.

Sherrie

Yesterday was no-holds-barred for me and it got ugly. Holiday leftovers, at least they're gone now. Don't stress too much over what's done, can't change it, but we can make the future what we want. So back on track today, you can also...we're pulling for you!

Chart everyday. Even when you over eat you will be aware. We all have bad days. My favorite slogan: "We fail when we substitute what we really want to achieve for what we want NOW". I do it all the time!

Sherrie you can do it ;) I understand as I do the same thing. Sometimes I will "stuff" myself and I hate it ....but see when I was growing up, my parents said I HAD TO EAT EVERYTHING on the plate, no exceptions. I'm NOT blaming my parents for my weight gain, please don't get me wrong. But what I mean is that when you are "conditioned" to finish everything on your plate, even if your stomach says to stop, you do what you were told to do. ;) But now, I am realizing that if I am drinking my water all day (which I bought one of those big 72 oz. water jugs at the Dollar General Market and I drink that all day and then some. And I am starting to realize that my stomach is feeling fuller, faster. So I don't like the feeling of being OVER FULL (I know, not really a word?) but then I make sure I eat smaller portions. :) YOU CAN do this....I CAN DO THIS...I'm here for you!!! Have a great day!!! :)

Sherri You can lose the weight just like I can, I am back on track Now with posting calories and will start exercise today. Just use your weight for today, and start from there. When I weigh in today-I know I will be below 160 again by tommorow or Wednesday, and then go for the downhill slide to 150 to reach my first goal. I know not posting my food the last couple days hurt and I am starting my first gym visit today. You seemed to do really well with the gym from your past reports, so you just need to post food again and watch calorie intake. My mistake in the past was I was keeping track of food and calorie intake was not a diaster, but my lack of exercise really hurt me. We all have bad weekends. With the company over, was eating at pizza places alot and too much calories, salt, carbs ect on my end during the newyear holiday.

OMG been there. Specially lately. I'm not sleeping right so I do the snacking to stay awake and then there the holiday treats kicking around make it sooo easy to do. I've been finding I've been dragging my but on getting back to eating right and exercising. Hang in there, trying to do better is better than not trying at all.
