I HAVE been watching what I eat. Um, I've been watching everything sneak itself into my mouth. Those chocolate pudding cookies (with mini chocolate chips and chopped robin's egg malt balls) held a gun to my head and I had NO choice but to let them in. Those chocolate chip banana muffins beat me up and forced their way in too. And uh...so did those Pillsbury Bunny Sugar Cookies. (^_^) I am no longer visiting Chicago, so I can't use that as my excuse to try new foods....but Easter hired snipers to take me down until I cooperated.

In 30 minutes, Easter will be gone (until next year...and then I'll have to try and come up with a new battle plan). I'm still a bit sick (which is probably why the sweets took advantage of my vulnerability in the first place. They knew I didn't have the strength to fight back! Damn them!)....but I'm going to try and get some walking in tomorrow. The problem might be that my kids are a little bit off schedule since we came back from our trip to Chicago. The plane ride and catching whatever it is we caught sure did a number on us ALL. My 9-month old isn't napping at the right times, so it might be a little tricky trying to find a good time to work out. Usually both of my boys take naps at the same time, but this last week, it just was NOT the case at all! I'm hoping they'll do better this week, so that *I* can do better too. My goal is to do at least 20 minutes in the morning(ish). I'm starting off slow and not aiming for a full hour like I would normally do because I don't know if I have the energy or strength yet. But we'll see. Wish me luck!
