I love lentils. How do you make your soup ocean?? 

That looks wonderful! I make a coconut curry lentil soup in my instapot. You are giving me an idea for supper! 😁

Hi Wifey, nice to hear from you. How you are well. I made a huge pot of this, Therefore I used a 16 ounce bag of lentils brown. You wash the lentils And drain. You cut up carrots ,potatoes, and onions. I used grapeseed oil about 2 tablespoons. Sauté all the vegetables, then placed lentils on top. I covered the lentils and the vegetables with chicken stock, and hot water. I used bay leaves, black pepper, Sea salt, chili powder, cumin, and turmeric. Bought everything up to a boil, then lowered the heat and let it simmer until everything is cooked. I diced up onions on the side and caramelize them, then topped the soup with caramelized onions. I like that you eat your food on real china. It's easy enough to wash it and much less wasteful than paper or plastic. These are beautiful colors too! 

Wifey, I forgot to tell you that I squeezed the juice of one fresh lemon before the soup was completed . 

Wow, thanks Erica, that was very sweet of you to say. To be honest with you I really do love using real plates instead of paper, but I’m not gonna lie , I also love the convenience of paper plates as well, especially when you have a large gathering. I’ve been there and done that, where it’s taking me half the day to clean up after peoples messes using real dishes, it’s beautiful but it’s also exhausting.
