Hi girl, the hair dryer is a good way to knock the chill and warm your

Thanks for the ideas. Our poor bird can't go to my parents to stay warm as they are going away for a break. This means he has to cope with the chilly house - and he is a tropical bird and is old. *sigh*

Squiggs my mama had her power go off for several days and was told to put
a big candle in a coffe can and light it. It will put out some heat. Maybe you could put one close the the bird cage. You can get some that do not put out much smoke.... Just a thought....Bren

Thankfully he seems to be coping. Just as well he is a tough old bird huh? I think he is coping better than I am LOL. It is 4 degrees warmer outside than inside now LOL

Yeah Stef, virtual heat just isn't working LOL. Grrr the glaziers were meant to be here today fixing our two broken windows. Been waiting for so long - they had promised it would be last week - and even that was after a long wait.
