How is it that last week I dropped a pound almost every day and this week I'm gaining it back as fast as I lost it? There really is something to only weighing once a week or month. Despite it all I'm going for a jog in a little and tomorrow spin class. No matter what the scale says I know I'm losing because my clothes are looser and I look better! Everyone keeps telling me I look skinny, something I haven't heard in years! lol So here's to my health, not the scale! Going to run a 5 k.

Hey there - it's easy to get discouraged, but try not to. Weight loss is unpredictable. I know what you mean about the scale not moving the right direction and I see why some people choose not to weight every day because of it. I weigh every day, but that's what keeps me motivated, even when it's a pound or two up. (You gotta love how if you put a pound on overnight, Fatesecret says, "You're gaining 7 lbs a week!!!!!) Not helpful.
Anyway, just wanted to offer my support and tell you that you're doing great! It IS about your health, not the scale. Keep it up!

Thanks so much, Emily! Yes, I noticed that Fatsecret says that! :) Made me want to punch the computer. hahaha. I did end up losing at the week's end, but I'm really hesitant over this coming week, we have family coming. How are your efforts coming along?
