Per the advise of Fatsecret's APompa, I drank lots of water yesterday, and reweighed this morning. At 150.4 (4 lbs down from yesterday) I'm glad that the weight was indeed mostly water. I am almost out of groceries, and a trip to the store will give me an opportunity to change up/fix up my diet. Calorie count alone is boring me, so I think I'm going to go the low carb approach, and am even kicking around doing the crazy Atkin's diet. Or maybe I'll go vegetarian for a bit. I don't buy that much red meat as it is (for price reasons mostly), and am getting bored with lean meats. There is rotten chicken breasts in the fridge cause we eat it so much, nobody wants any more. My son loves salmon, but the other two kids won't touch it, so I don't make that too often. I don't really like any other fish (unless it's fried..haha). I hate pork. My baby girl won't eat meat already. Doc says that is not that unusual (apparently its a texture thing). Which ever I decide, I will keep my families diet separate from mine. I'll continue to make their dinners, and eat a different/healthier meal. Don't get me wrong, I'll keep my family healthy too, I just won't subject them to any extremes. I buy whole wheat, whole grain and organic where possible (proving to be more difficult in Nebraska, than in Colorado). I buy low fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and low sodium as much as possible. I don't buy soda or cookies or potato chips for the house. If I buy desserts, I try to buy things without high fructose corn syrup, and things I'm not too crazy about (most recently fudgesicles, and juice Popsicles have been the choice). So I'm off now to make a meal plan for the next 2 weeks.
