I've been on vacation so didn't even try to log my food. But I did stay faithful to my low carb plan, although I ate more of a maintenance diet most days. My worst offence was 3 fried pickle spears, which had coating on them. But man were they good! LOL It was actually not that difficult to stay on plan. The worst was that I had waaaay too much salt from eating out every meal. We did a lot of walking and I came home very sore and with blisters on my feet, so I guess that counteracted most of the damage. I came home only weighing 2 pounds more than when I left, and I bet that is water weight.

One thing that my boyfriend noticed that was different about this vacation from previous years -- I only had picked out one restaurant for us to go eat at ahead of time, and instead had lots of fun places for us to go and things to do. In the past, there has always been a big focus on eating and instead, we just sort of winged it this time. When he pointed this out, it made me realize how much my thinking has changed over the past few months... that food is not entertainment -- it is to nourish my body and give me energy to do stuff I enjoy. :)
