I just can't afford to have chocolate in the house. I asked my 8 year old to eat all the M&Ms, and he didn't argue with me...lol. My caloric intake for the last week is unacceptable. I am caught between trying to eat what we have to save money, and buy what I should eat to feel good. I'm thinking of going back to cooking separate meals for the kids and husband, than for myself. Though really, my husband should eat what I do, though convincing him of that might be difficult. Last night I made pizza, and didn't eat any. However, tonight I made fried chicken (my effort in eating some chicken legs and thighs my Mom bought us, and am sure no one in this house would eat those pieces any other way...including me...but don't ever fry anything any other time ever, I promise), and think I should have made that for everyone else, and had a bowl of veggie soup myself. Tomorrow the kids asked for manwiches, and I'll make that for them, but I'm having veggie soup.
I did 100 squats this morning, 60 lunges, and umpteen sit ups (mostly via leg extensions), and I can't hardly move now...lol. Tomorrow I want to do planks, planks, and more planks. Today I also did an intense hour on the exercise machine at the YMCA.

I laugh sometimes when things on the machine like calories burned, miles gone, or heart rate are so obviously off. I got a heart rate of 87 when I was sweating like crazy, and a minute later it read 210. Neither of those were right I assure you. I was in the 125-145 range. Friday the stationary bike I was on measured only 5 miles in an hour...haha. I don't think so. I went at least twice that if not more. I was peddling like a maniac. I miss riding for real. I could do at least 20 miles in an hour outside no problem. We'll see what spring brings. Maybe I'll get a seat for Abby, and we will go on a ride a couple times a week rather than going to the Y. I'm curious where I could go on a safe ride with her though. I might have to research that. I'm betting there are no continuous trails for me to go 20 miles, but maybe I can circle a lake a few times or something like that. Also, speaking of wrong data, I recorded a dinner salad I ate from Chili's that other day that says 180 calories (no dressing), and I wonder how that is possible. It contained about 1 cup iceburg lettuce, finely chopped cucumbers, and tomatoes, and onions (which I removed). That is it. I didn't bother editing it though, cause I figure I'm short on the other end eating more than a set serving size on anther entry.

I got a pedometer on (my husbands I stole from him), and trying to get back to 12500 steps again. That seemed to work well for me. I only had about 8300 steps yesterday, but I was stuck at my desk working for a long time. Today I'll get my 12500 in, but I'm soooo tired. Its 8:30, and I'm going to bed. When I'm up with Billy at 4:30am its easy to be tired early. I'll probably get up with him again tomorrow. He likes when I do. He says he feels taken care of. I like taking care of him, so it's fine.

I'm going to prefill my diet log for tomorrow to see if that helps me stay on track better.

I make lunch pizzas with low carb tortillas --- Yummy and satisfying. Use pepporoni and cheese sparingly. My granddaugher likes them, too!
