Tonight I went shopping and bought excellent replacements to my normal "diet". Im looking to increase my protein and reduce my carbs and caloric intake.

Here's one item I replaced with normal granola bars.

Nature Valley Protein Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter
(Walmart now makes a version called Great Value Chewy Protein Bars)
These are NOT the protein bars that are like eating mud. They are in the same aisle as granola bars - 190 cal, 12g fat, 14g carb, and 10g of protein.

I'll weigh in on Sunday being that it's the first of the month.

The numbers on the scale are not the end all be all for being slimmer. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat.
