I'm no longer obese YAY!!! Funny, I never thought I'd ever be able to say that again. It's been years since I became unable to work and packed on all those pounds. I'm blown away by the collection of clothes I have that are now too big for me. I've had to start saving them in a box for Good Will. Who would've thought? lol:)

Sunnier days are a-coming ☼

I am totally impressed with what you have accomplished. You inspire me! Did you mention how tall you are? I am 59, 5'2" and also have fibromyalgia. Though I didn't and still don't have much to lose it is a struggle against the sugar demons. Your 112 lb goal sounds like really, really petite person? I would be happy at 125 which is 10 lbs to go. I remember you telling me that you were super carb sensitive which is why you are doing the Primal Blueprint. I think I may need to read that book!

Hi Kyle!! Yeah, I'm 54 and just a hair over 5 feet tall and agreed, fibromyalgia is a struggle when it comes to weight. It' so hard to be active and many of the meds they put us on to help with our fibro symptoms often causes weight problems. I also have diabetes 2 so I have to watch my carbs and sugars. I have to say I've improved from last winter when I was in bed literally all winter. The post office even stopped my mail because I was physically unable to walk to my mailbox. I don't know if you can get The Primal Blueprint from your library yet. {{{HUGS}}}

Happy Friday, Pixi. I remember how hard it was taking care of myself with kids too. I had 3 of my own and often babysat for extra cash. As I remember, I wasn't very successful in the later years. I didn't know much about weight let alone being healthy except what the "experts" of the day said. I followed the low fat, no meat diet for about 4 years which didn't do well with my body. Knowledge truly is power, still it's trial and error for most of us I think. Now with diabetes, fats and meats are my friends lol. {{{BIG hugs}}}
