Was just going to update the entry from yesterday and decided it was easier to just make a new one.

Had a great time last night with some great people. Didn't eat as well as I should've (got a strawberry daiquiri with dinner, ate ALL of my hibachi plate [shrimp, scallops, stir-fry noodles & veggies & white rice]), and then had a piece of ice cream cake (almost wrote "because it was a birthday celebration", and then realized the correct phrasing is "because I wanted to despite knowing I shouldn't").

I'll wait until tomorrow to post the actual weigh-in (I usually weigh both Saturday and Sunday and post the lower of the two. Is that cheating?) When I weighed this morning it was still the 171.6 from last week. Hopefully that'll go down if I get the sodium from last night's shenanigans out of my system xD

Dave put in the application for the place yesterday, and was told that we got it in at a great time. Apparently after we went on Thursday and showed interest, there were a few other interested parties that popped up (one of them even offered to pay six months of rent in advance!), but we got the application filed, so apparently that put us at the head of the list (despite the potential bribery xD). So now we wait until everything is processed, and *fingers crossed*, we'll find out Monday whether or not its ours. Not gonna lie, if we don't get this place I will be a bit heartbroken over it. I know, I know "If its meant to be it'll happen, and if not you'll find another place"...doesn't mean I can't mope a little over the loss of this one.

Well I hope no moping will be required. Good luck on the Sunday weigh-in. Get your water in to flush out the sodium. I like your thought process or re-phrasing of the cake eating "because I wanted to despite knowing I shouldn't". Imagine how much more damage you would have eaten if you did not have that knowledge. We are conscious of our actions and the consequences and that's a good thing.
