My eyes were bigger than my stomach today, I ate WAY too much for breakfast. It was just so yummy though.... :)

oh geez, how many times have I done that myself. guilty as charged! however, as long as you eat the RIGHT foods, even if the quantity is significantly more than you intended, our ketosis shouldn't be threatened. that's the key.

heck yes!! besides if there is going to be a meal that you over eat on...breakfast is the one to do it on!!i believe the saying goes "eat breakfast like a king, and dinner like a pauper". i have found myself doing the opposite on the atkins and there was never an issue. And Yes the key is lean meats and veggies. i have a big bowl of salad ready to grab and throw in a bowl, and hard boiled eggs. If you have time in your crazy household to make up ham/cream cheese/green onion roll ups, or celery with natural peanut or almond butter(yum!)the kids can munch on them too,(and maybe the gerbals too). check out the recipes for our diet for really quick (1/2 hour prep and cook)that you AND the family will want you to make again. Oh.....and drink water!!!haha it's the mantra!!;)
