Oh my word I'm so tipsy!!! Couldn't have had more than 10oz of red wine. Where'd my tolerance go? Did it leave with the fat? I never once felt like this the entire time we were in Mexico.

The more muscle you have, the more quickly you metabolize alcohol. This means it'll take less alcohol to get you drunk, and it'll happen very quickly after you start those drinks. On the flip side, you'll sober up quicker, too. Try choosing a bolder red that'll take longer for you to drink?
