PrairieRains's Journal, 30 March 2021

We will try this again I hit submit and it disappeared. Lol
So thankful there wasn't much damage from the storm. Finally winds are down to a mere 20mph. Tomorrow will be over.

Calories were a bit high toda, macros were ok not great. Will have to focus more on that tomorrow.

Giving a lot of thought to Easter this year, I will still do my S/F BBQ smoked ribs, deviled eggs, sliced cucumbers, we will be making Tator tots haven't had them for months. Will make a keto lava cake. Just don't trust the sugar in other desserts.

This is a huge leap out of my comfort zone. When I decided to embrace getting healthy. I promised myself I would Not cheat. I have only cheated 1x and that was 5 days after I started January 12th.

I thought I would share one of my favourite pictures so far this season. Less than 24 hrs old, he is totally content full tummy, deep straw to snuggle down in.

Thank you Rains, that was fun!!😊 The calf is so cute! I’m glad it’s healthy and happy.👍 Man, that is so much work I can’t imagine you having to lose weight. I’m gonna swipe some of the things you’re doing for Easter. We really have no plans ourselves this year, which is probably good for my diet. So glad the storm didn’t destroy anything! Take care and have a Wonderful Wednesday!🌸🌸🌸

What a precious picture. I looked at your bio, and our weight loss start points are about the same - my highest was 230. I'm a quilter, too! When I was a child, we lived in Montana, close to the Canadian border - so beautiful. Happy Easter from Tennessee.

Hi Shrewd!!! Copy all you want I copy from others all the time I am one of these ppl that look at carbs or sugars and pack on the pounds. This isn't my 1st rodeo, I never had to worry about it til my 50's after Vreast cancer the whole thing changed in a blink of an eye. In 16 I was with in 20 lbs of goal, I quit BIG Mistake. So now at 60 I am doing it again. And sticking with it.😊

So sad that I luv to eat beef so much. They're the reason I've tried to be vegan most of my life but I still haven't mastered it. I eat beef about once per week. I luv cows so much that my mom made my kitchen curtains out of material that resembles the black/white ones, when I lived out in AZ. I was in Hereford to top it off. Cow deco all over the kitchen, back then. Going up to AZ, again, to spend my B'day & Easter w/family. May God bless us all and all of God's creatures too...Amen O:-)

Slow Meta, my hat is off to you on being vegan I know that is a path I won't even try. I haveca daughter totally vegan has been for decades. I respect any lifestyle that leads to inner happiness. We haven't bred Hereford for about 50+ yrs on this farm. We do a cross of Charolais/ Pinzgauer. We are totally beef sellers. We do have some Charolais purebred. Have a blessed Easter.
