I got my 12500 steps in last night, but only after I tucked everyone in, found a place in the house that the floor boards don't creak, and jogged, jumped, and shook in place.
"Where are you, are you coming to bed?" my husband asked. "I've got to get my 12500 steps in, I'll be there shortly." I replied. He rolled his eyes, and asked me to turn the lights out for him then. I saw the basement light on, and knowing I needing to go down to turn it off, decided it would actually be best to do my running downstairs where it was cooler, there were no creaking floor boards, and I was sure not to bother anyone. I felt like an addict jogging on the concrete floor staring at walls of storage, knowing my husband was irritating with my choice to exercise instead of coming to bed.
Well, I'm still fat, which makes me unhappy, which makes everyone else in the house unhappy, so I gotta do what I gotta do. My husband will get over it. He'll too soon reap the benefits with my new sexy bod...right?

I'm up early today after taking Billy to work. I decided not to go back to bed when I got home, but to try to get those challenging steps in early. The gym doesn't open until 8am on Saturday, so my plan to get my workout in before the kids are up is not going to work. I'll try to get to Zumba though.

I need to go to the mall today to weigh in for the GNC challenge. I think I'll walk the mall with the kiddos to get some exercise too. I'll need to plan right, and bring snacks for the kids to avoid the hungry breakdown we had with them last weekend. I also need to put my restraint hat on, and window shop only. I still need to catch up from our spending last weekend. I do love my new smaller coat and bras though!!!
