Well, I lost a pound today, which is a start from the crazy weight gain from super bowl sunday! I don't know what the hell has come over me... I never eat chips and stuff and I have been chowing on them, probably because they are in the house but I usually don't go for salty food to begin with. Its also been difficult with birthday cake in my house! I have been walking the past 2 nights, braving the snow and cold and just doing it.. yesterday I walked a little over 2 1/2 miles and the day before about 1 3/4 miles. I will probably go for another walk tonight as long as it isn't icy.

The hard part today was that work was cancelled from the snow... so there was not much to do but watch tv and eat. I had 2 slices of pizza for breakfast and some chips with guacamole for lunch, thinking about ordering a salad for dinner since I have no food in the house! I have been very good however with drinking my water.

I have a new reason to stay focused! My favorite aunt has invited me to come stay with her n Florida for a week or so because she wants me to look around down there for a job and a town to look for a home. Shockingly, my boyfriend is supportive of this... just me going away for a week! I can't wait! I have to plan when, but I would like to be down to 215-220 pounds before I go... so maybe I will wait until the end of April or early May to give myself enough time to lose 25-30 more pounds! I am looking forward to seeing her, I have not seen her in a few years since she doesn't make the trip up here very often! And spending time with her is always great!

My new diet plan is to now limit my carb intake... it's gonna be hard, but that is where I will see the biggest weight loss... and lots of water!!

Limiting carbs, from my point of view, is the only way. I am not losing more than one pound a week because I get zero exercise. White carbs are verboten. There are carbs in everything...flax seed, walnuts, celery. So I limit my intentional carbs to lettuce because the carb creep from other things adds up.

Limiting carbs definitely worked for me too! You can also squeeze in limiting or avoiding processed foods. You are doing great! Keep pushing! =)

Once you go low carb for a few days, your appetite totally goes away and the weight melts off. Hang in there!
