Eat something before you have that first drink, something of substance, could even be hot oatmeal, I have that before I go out to a party or something hot that is filling and not too many points. Progresso has that soup now with the WW points on the can, you can have a whole can for only 1 point, that is very filling. I find if I have something in my stomach I am more in control. I also find if I find a place to stash my glass I will tuck it away and then go back and get it, that way I sip it as the night goes on rather than drink it like tea or pop.
