Im Alive!! Feeling a bit better today, perhaps its all in my head because im tired of being down in the dumps but hell, I'll take it! My fever has broke and if that bastard comes back ill ibuprofen and acetaminophen him straight back to hell. My family doc tested me for strep and flu but could find no reason for my fever. Niether doc gives a shit about my slightly swollen sore tongue and throat, and im done bouncing between them like a ping pong ball. Going to get some blood work the doctor ordered done today, then Im done for the week.
Havent been much occupied with calories and exercise this week but ive been just sick enough to keep my intake down resulting in a .2 loss, hooray lol. Im returning to work tonight then hopefully recovering over the weekend. Signed myself up for a twelve hour shift monday to try to make up some of the hours ive lost. I better be better by then lol.

((hugs)) Glad you're feeling better!! I just grab my bottle of elderberry wine and some honey when I start feeling yucky. It really helps knock it in the keister!! Hope you feel much better by monday!

Ditto - glad to read you're still alive .. I almost suggested the Benadryl thing yesterday but decided suggesting treatment without a license could get me in trouble. Have a better weekend!

Nah, suggest treatment all you want. If you wont bill me fifty dollars a minute for your time then I might just make you my full time doc! lol I highly doubt i ever had a true allergic reaction anyway as i now have the characteristic white patches of strep on my tonsils. Doctor still insists its viral, we will see if he changes his tune when the culture comes back. When are doctors going to stop practicing and start actually curing people??

If you get strep - you will KNOW IT! No swallowing even possible. I sure hope you don't get it, but if you do the correct prescription will knock it out almost immediately. Here's hoping you are on the mend! Hugs to you.
