Holidays are almost over. Busiest time of year. The food and all the parties. I have never really bought into Christmas as an adult. Never really liked the parties and all the hubbub. Christmas presents have always made me feel sad and I have never put away money to by things for other people like I should have. I did always enjoy the treats and food. That is until this year. I have had the best Christmas that I have had in the very long time. I think it has to do with my change in mind and body. Even though I did splurge on my Christmas eats I still lost a few pounds. Giving presents was way more rewarding this year then receiving. The look of awe and comments I received from the things I gave put a smile on my face.
Today though is a sad day for a bit. Today a person that helped inspire me left work (cutbacks). He gave me a big hug (which was surprising) and told me to keep up the good work. BTW, he lost 75 pounds plus and looks amazing. He has the nicest family and is a genuine good guy.
Hope everyone on FS has a great Christmas and Happy New Year.
