Hello everyone!! Hope ya'll have had a great weekend, dreading tomorrow to say the least! Did well yesterday with the logging of the food plan, but then my hubs bought me a delicious bottle wine and as I was carrying it to the fridge I tripped, lost my balance, and accidently drank it all. It was the craziest thing. Well once I'd gotten my tipsy on it wasn't easy to stay out of the leftovers, but my inner Alex always steered me to the Turkey rather than sweet potatoes or fruit salad, so I'm feeling pretty darn proud of my controlled indulgence. Weigh in's are now on Tuesdays for me, so we will see how that goes! I didn't weigh in today, been chugging water and fiber lol. Gotta work that out if ya know what I mean ;-).

Made a big pot of chili for dinner, it was delicious and I'm surprised when I log my recipe how low calorie it is. I have been making healthier substitutions that are really paying off. Fat free cornbread muffins and extra lean beef saved me some serious calories. I'm a girl who likes big portions, I won't be happy with half of a delicious muffin, or a quarter cup of chili. Nope, not gonna work lol. Stayed low in the calories today, so hooray.

Tomorrow will be busy as usual, heading to the gym and all that good stuff so I thought I'd write tonight rather than trying to squeeze it in tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, hope you are okay from the tripping accident HA! I am ready for tomorrow, new week, new start and hope to have another pound off by Sunday! Good luck girl, I'm right there with ya! :)

I tripped and had a couple beers. Thought they were not going to be so bad but then I saw that one was actually a carb bomb. It was an apple cider that was apparently more apple than cider. oh well.... Glad your inner Alex helped you make good choices. I agree with you about portion sizes. i guess I am a typical American.... I refuse to eat just one bite or 3 or 4.... I need a tub of whatever I am eating. :) Chili sounds good. My big problem with Chili is that I really like crackers with it and - Alas.... crackers have carbs and I want a ton of them so - no Soupo for me (Chili either)

I remember having one or two...or was that more?? of those tripping accidents!!! Glad your chili was good. Mine was too!! I just didn't put the recipe in my book here. mmm....I'll have to check. I may have...lol!! Have a great day today!!

It's amazing how those accidents can happen! I like my big portions, or just regular sized ones, too, so I'm with you on substituting something healthier in the recipe for cutting the serving in half. I hope weigh in goes well tomorrow!!
