Annabelle3117's Journal, 03 December 2013

Down to only three pounds above my pre-thanksgiving weight. Of course there is probably water weight to contend with due to my strength training. I'll weigh in again on Friday, which is supposed to be my official weigh in day. Or maybe I'll switch it back to Mondays now that the biggest loser thing is done. Helps keep me in line over the weekend. Either way, happy with the downward progress. Maybe I'll get a great final weigh in of 2013 yet.

Today is my day 'off' lol. Tuesdays and Thursdays my son is home from preschool so I don't go to the gym. This means after my morning shift at work I get to be home for six straight hours, then I go to my PM shift lol. These days are practically my weekend. M, W, and F I'm only home for an hour before I head to the gym then work. And over the actual weekends, well that's just plain non stop action. My body needs a break, I've been to the gym the last three days straight.

I've got my calories planned out for the day. Lots of leftovers. I'm making sausage gravy for the family tonight, but I'll be eating a lighter dinner of leftover turkey. Keeping it a little lower calorie since I'm not doing any extra activity. Which reminds me... Do you guys document all the activity you do when you're calculating your burn. Some of the things like 'standing' seem a little ridiculous to me. I only document when I intentionally exercise, and hope that my actual burn is a little higher due to working and housework etc.

I've got my plan, now all I have to do is stick to it. I repeat that to myself at least a million times a day lol. Hope everyone is well, I'm off to do super mom stuff... like laundry and dishes.

SOunds like you have a great plan and I know you will stick to it. I never record any activity. I don't have much as you know but I figure all activity is just gravy for me. It never seems to work out that the calories in/out = weight loss. I think that is just me. Can I ask you yet again about the kettle bell DVD? I can't find anything that appears to be the right one. I thought you said it was inexpensive and the ones I have found are higher.

Good to hear you are back down in your weight. I try to calculate everything I do. I don't always calculate walking around the house. I used to!! Now I do calculate things like washing dishes, cooking supper, doing laundry, even crocheting!! It helps me keep track on what I burn during the day. I am waiting for my hubby to ask for sausage gravy again...lol!! Its one of his favorites!! I will still eat that, only I just eat a little bit. Have fun with the little one and your six hours off!!

Thanks puma, sometimes I eat sausage gravy, just not today :-). I might consider logging other activities, lord knows I never sit down. Alex, go on amazon.com and search kettle bell dvd. I'm seeing quite a few for under ten dollars. Mine is kettle bell sculpted body by bob harper, but I would be interested in trying his cardio shred. Let me know what you end up with!
