squigglywiggly's Journal, 13 December 2010

Okay I looked back before the earthquake to what I was eating and it is interesting. I ate a lot more red meat, a lot less chicken, had torani SF syrup with no problems at all (yay!) No fruit - no strawberries or raspberries or blueberries - boooo! LOL No protein powder (yayboo? ROFL).

So I may go back to eating what I was in August before all the earthquake stress and see what happens. I am thrilled about the torani haha!

This process is a journey. So glad you may've found some clues. Hope your hunch is right. The carbs in berries adds up so fast. 1/4 cup of blueberries is 5 carbs, and that's a tiny amount! Good luck!

Yeah that is all I was using but even that might be too much for my body. Back to induction pretty much for me LOL. And we have lots of strawberries growing outside and in the fridge too - might have to bless others with them LOL

Squiggs it's so weird to hear you talk about strawberries growing in your garden right now I keep forgetting you're from New Zealand! LOL it's cold and wet here!

You know I would love cold and wet! It is hotter than normal here this month and last, and they say it will be a long hot summer. I am a winter girl so would swap with you in a heartbeat LOL.

how lucky to have strawberries growing right outside, except what a temptation! We dont grow them here at all, not sure why, I would think they would grow in Hawaii, maybe its an insect problem

Hubby thinks they are a sub-tropical fruit and need the cold as well

We grow them here in Washington St they're one of my favorites! I live 5 minutes from a berry farm... this farm grows strawberries, rasberries and blueberries!
