28% of initial goal + 5% of total body weight = 1 happy Mellie Mel....Ok so I have been bad about getting on here and journaling and I feel like crap about it. Feeling really good about things this time around...It has been 6, almost 7 weeks and I haven't given up. Those of you who have been supportive of me in the past know this is a big accomplishment. No I haven't lost 25 lbs, yes I still eat crap somedays...but the changes I have made are ones I can live with for a long time. I am starting to see changes in my body and my attitude. I cannot wait to see how I look and feel in another six weeks. Weigh in tomorrow and honestly I don't care what the scale says this week... I know I am making changes for my future and I know that I will get there...not tomorrow....not next week or next month but I will get there. I am committed to this...I am changing the way I live my life and the choices I make...I AM doing this

I love your attitude and outlook on this. I really need to adopt parts of it! You are right, you are going to do it this time. And there are obvious changes in your body as well as in your endurance. We have been having our butts kicked and you are stepping up every day!

I noticed something little today that was really a huge thing...Kristy and I were running to the car because it was cold....From the doors of Kmart in Merrillville to the door to Fashion Bug and I wasn't winded....6 weeks ago I would have been panting...

Great attitude, you are so right. This is a long term change that we have to be able to live with. Keep pushing forward with small change after small change and your lifestyle will be much better. Never give up. You can do this.
