Day 6.

Lost another pound but not soon enough. Old faithful jeans had a blowout last night so had to make an emergency trip to Kohls. I really didn't want to buy any more jeans until I could buy a smaller size, but can't exactly go around with my butt hanging out - LOL.

Going to a a party at Old Charlies tonight. Haven't been there in ages but I do remember the heavenly aroma of their freshly baked rolls ... would it be unacceptable to wear nose plugs to the restaurant?

Update - just realized the restaurant is O'Charleys. But I bet you all knew what I was talking about!

Rockytu - Thank you. As for the rolls, this is where we are different: 1/2 half of a roll would lead to 1/2 dozen rolls. Will order a coffee and sip it until my salad comes - at least this is my plan.

I love O'Charleys. I am with you on the fresh baked rolls. One bite and I am eating that and then bloat up and dinner is ruined. Are they the people that bake the bread in the terracotta flower pots? Could be I am thinking of another restaurant but we have the O'Charleys in Virginia. (just not near Narnia) Sorry about the jeans blowout. They must have been your favorite jeans. LOL! WTG on the pound lost! GREAT JOB!

Love the blow out comment. Been there, done that. Like trying to put 10lb of (#*$ in a 5lb bag. But did get another pair of cord jeans from Costco. Thought they were stretch so got 14. Too tight. OY, too tight. They're not stretch. But thrilled to pieces I'm in a 16 for regular jeans now. But 14 for the stretch jeans. I am happy.

Mom - They were the only pair of jeans that I would even consider leaving the house in, so when they wore out I HAD to replace them. It broke my heart that I had to buy another pair in size 12, yet, I have no one to blame but me. As for the rolls - I ate not one bite! Personal victory!!!

Great job avoiding the rolls! I am like you - if I start, I will have a difficult time stopping. Yes, jeans are a process...

ClassicRocker - I like to call it like I see it. BTW - Drives me nuts how they don't have consistent sizing on women's clothing. DH never has to try on pants - how unfair is that?

HCB - Think it is the addictive nature of the Carb Monster!

Buffy, I hear you on the rolls or anything else that has wheat in it! I realized after reading Wheat Belly just how addictive it can truly be to those of us who cannot process it the way others do. That insulin dump due to the sugar conversion just slams me! Sorry about the jeans, but really excited for you on the pound!!! :)

One lb at a time, my friend! Good for you on the downward trend & avoiding those O'Charley rolls! As they say, you can't eat just one! Xoxox

Stef - All good jeans must come to an end. Don't like the new ones one as much so maybe that will give me more incentive to shrink out of them.

Ruth - Thanks for your encouragement. I am so close now it would be a shame to regress.
