So I decided to try on some of the smaller sizes in shirts that bought on clearance to wear as I lose weight and get smaller. :) Proud to report that I can get an XL top on, even if it is far too clingy for my taste. But I can get it on!! And it doesn't look horribly bad, just too tight in some areas. XD lol. I feel comfortable in a 2x right now, not too clingy, but not baggy either. Though I do have some 2x's that are a bit tighter than I'm use to. I'm starting to think I'm going to have issues wearing anything that clings even the tiniest bit to me. And the smaller sizes almost seem wrong to me after wearing 2x and 3x's for so long. :/ I try to think of myself as modest and interested in looser and more comfortable things where clothing is concerned, but I worry if I'm hiding in the looser/bigger clothing sometimes.

I'm wearing on my hubby's old shirts today. It's a Men's large, but it's been a loooong time since I have worn anything with a Large tag. And it reminds me of him.

Also took my measurements again today:

September 11th vs. November 4th measurements:

Neck: 16 -> 16
Shoulders: 57 -> 51.5
Bicep: 17 -> 15.5
Bust: 51 -> 48
Under bust: 42.5 -> 40.5
Waist: 48 -> 42
Hips: 62 -> 59
Thigh: 35 -> 33.5
Calf: 21.5 -> 19.75

Not to shabby. :) Just wish my hips and thighs was losing as fast as my shoulders. :/

So excited for you!! I feel the same way with clothing and having a hard time giving up my 3X pants and maternity XXL. Even though I need to hike em up to my armpits. Just feels weird. KEEP IT GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGS

Thanks Everyone. ^.^ @Shellysue: It is really weird. :/ I still have my 26/28 jeans, even though I haven't even tried them on in 2 weeks. They're extremely big on me now. @Esjay: the measurements are good to do when the scale isn't moving alot. I've gained muscle with all the exercise, and since it weighs more than fat, the scale just doesn't show a loss, but my body has shrunk because Muscle is denser than fat. When I start to feel down, or I notice clothing getting looser, I pull out the measuring tape and do measurements. :P It's certainly a little boost to my confidence and motivation when I see I've shrunk in areas. ^.^
