Fledgist's Journal, 04 November 2010

Today I've hit a double benchmark. At last I've made the 20-stone line and gone under it! I am really chuffed. I have a long way to go, but I feel as if I've passed a significant marker.

I've also passed another marker, I've dropped over seven stone in weight since I started dieting in March. Seven whole stone. It's what I weighed when I was thirteen (and 4' 11") -- given that when I was twelve I weighed nine stone and I lost two stone as a result of that major lifestyle change, perhaps this is symbolic.

I still have six stone to go, to get to my goal of twelve, so there's still a huge struggle ahead, but it's important to note that I am, slowly, getting to where I want to go.
279.6 lb Lost so far: 57.4 lb.    Still to go: 111.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congratulations, that's great. Benchmarks are important, they show us that we are progressing, even if at times it is frustratingly slow progress. Perserverance is the key.

Way to go! Did you ever think you could lose 7 stone? Sometimes you can surprise yourself. If you can lose 7 stone, the next 6 should come off well. You're over halfway there
