I had a good day of exercise today and feeling good about it. My weight was up today so I am hoping it will be back down for tomorrow's weigh in. I went to the gym and worked hard for 55 min (a little shorter than I usually am there) and did weights, ran a mile and did 10 hard min. on the elliptical. Tonight I made cabbage soup for myself for dinner so I could eat that as my main thing. It is a 0 point weight watchers recipe and very good, although very high in sodium so it might make you retain water. It is:
-saute carrots, minced onion and garlic in Pam until tender
-add in 4 cups chicken broth (or 4 cups water and 4 boullion cubes)
-chop close to a head of cabbage and add in
-1 TBSP tomato paste
-1/2 tsp basil, 1/4 tsp. oregano (or just throw in some as I do!)
-Any other veggies you want to add in- I add in zucchini, squash and green beens if I have them.

Then after dinner we went to the county park behind our subdivision that has a huge park and played tag with the kids- 50 more minutes of walking and fast running playing tag. It was fun to have good family fun like that and the kids just love it.

The other thing that was helpful today is I have been really hard on myself lately for not being able to get to a ton of projects I see everywhere. So I went around the house with a notebook and wrote down all the little things or organizing projects that were bugging me. I then put it on the computer with an estimated time to complete that project. I had about 25 min. this afternoon to devote to whatever ones I could get done and I got 3 little projects done. Things like- clean out my purse, put a new DVD in the recorder and charge the dvd recorder, and clean off a laundry room shelf. The time frame was very helpful and it was great to scratch off 3 items! I am feeling a lot better about things and not beating myself up this week so far!!

Yeah! Great plan of attack on those projects! I get overwhelmed at times too when thinking about EVERYTHING that needs to get done. I like how you used the PM program. What a great idea! Isn't great to see things 'scratched off' the list! Keep on focusing on the accomplishments! No worries about the weight you are exercising well and have a great eating plan. It'll go down in no time. Have fun exercising and completing projects (they expend calories too). =)
