Every 3rd wednesday of the month is company provided breakfast goodies. This is the 5th time I am foregoing, but it's actually harder this time than the last few. I always got a savory bagel- with cream cheese, because I'm not that into sweets. But I have an apple and some almonds with me... I'll be fine. If everyone will stop being so very kind and stopping by to say- "the goodies are here, did you get some?"

And then I look at todays weigh-in... :D

Every time someone comes and tries to push one of those unhealthy goodies on you, just imagine big old fat donuts plastered all over their thighs and belly! Remember that you are making a healthy, fabulous you! A friend once told me that nothing taste as good as dropping a dress size! I can't wait to drop another size. I CAN TASTE IT!

OMG @Pug, you are hilarious! That's the best answer I have heard for finding the willpower to turn down junk food. Awesome! :) And @Barbie ... I totally feel ya! I don't have that issue at work, but it happens when friends have parties and stuff like that, and especially the holidays. I have already been thinking about what I am going to do over Thanksgiving/Christmas when I'm with my relatives. Always such tempting food around the house! I could imagine them all walking around with stuffing plastered to their legs. ;)

Runnette, Did you see my holiday challenge? It's about not overingulging rather than actually losing... I have found that bringing something of my own to the family gatherings is helpful. SOmething that is totally within my diet... I don't have to feel guilty for eating it. Then I can have tastes of the other stuff and keep it under control.
