I know I do not drink enough water and will have to start drinking more to flush out my body. Thank you for giving me that suggestion. I feel a little less bloated, so maybe being off the Lyrica is a good thing. Headaches haven't come back yet and hopefully they stay gone. I think I'm going to try and get more veggies in my diet also.

Well, I took my two boxers to the vet Friday and got them checked over. Buster got his shots, but Copper has been chewing on his feet and getting ear infections. The vet thinks Copper has a food allergy and this is causing both issues, so he put Copper on antibiotics and steroids in order to clear things up and I'm in the process of transitioning him into a food trial. Boy, the prescription food is EXPENSIVE!! He was a whopping 105# (Buster was 66#) and the vet says he needs to lose 10-15#, so Copper and his mama (that would be me) are both on a diet and exercise plan now. Of course, I can't take Copper for a walk and not Buster, so I'm going to be walking twice a day as soon as the rain clears up. The Lord has his way of motivating me--all he had to do is make my poor baby sick and overweight also.

My boxer Cooper chews his nails. I have both on Wellness Core but I do give them leftovers from the table too. They also eat Bully Sticks every day. Sometimes they can be allergic to grass. It's good you you have the motivation to walk them now but sorry the little guy isn't well. :(

Have you ever heard of the barf diet? We feed our 3 spanials only on natural & raw food. The oldest is 14 this year & they all thrieve on it. If you think til the 1950 dog food as we buy it now didn't excist & on a farm a dog had to fend for itself apart from the odd scrap. Sometimes its best to keep it simple. Guess the same goes for 2 legged creatures :) oh....& remember your water :)
