Our youngest cat, Lucy, looking out the window at our oldest chicken, Buff. And apparently the backside of a Julie hen...that was not supposed to be in the picture.
Buff is seven years old and the last remaining hen from a Valentine's Day gift to Mom from Dad, back before she did her surgery and grew out her hair and didn't really care much about her health. Now we are all losing weight and running as a family, and looking at this old chicken just reminds me of how far we've come. Plus she's just pretty and sweet.
