For breakfast I am having 1/2 cup of steel cut oats, my all-time favorite cereal, in addition to my usual 2 eggs. I have tested my blood glucose repeatedly after eating them (always slightly undercooked, I prefer them that way). While their net carb count is high even for 1/4 cup, they are low on the glycemic index. This is reflected in my blood response - I've never had a spike after eating them because they digest so slowly. So...I'm not worried they'll kick me out of ketosis (or if they do, it won't be for long) or delay weight loss.
