220 lbs. Started lowering calorie intake and keeping a food journal February 2011.Lost 30 lbs.by June 2011.Summer I didn't watch closely and by November had lost another 10 lbs.Now weighing 180 lbs. I got serious about keeping to 1200 calories a day. February 2012 -goal lose 20 lbs.by Summer. JUNE I did it. Kept up the journal and raised the calorie intake to 1800 but allowed ice cream and cookies once a week.February 2013 decided to go back to 1200 calories. Hadn't gained any weight back since the cruise and decided to see how wearing a size 12 would feel.I have no memory wearing a size smaller than a 14 and that was in 1960.In April I took a trip to Abilene and noticed clothing felt looser. I bought some new clothes size 12. They are snug in the waist but fit better everywhere else. May 6,1013 weighed in at 155
153.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.6 lb a week
