I am back from a "mental health break". Long story short - I waited until I felt I was ready to recommit to faithfully logging my food and counting (carbs & cals).
I may not ever catch up with all of your journals but, to anyone reading this, wishing you all success from the bottom of my heart.

I know how you feel. Sometimes a 'sabbatical' is what it takes to get back with it. It is so hard to see the same lb going on and off all the time. I was down to 185 in Dec, but since then I have been playing with the same 5-8 lbs and they are no fun! I did well yesterday and only have 2 plus lbs to get back down to the 185. And then hopefully on to a 'new frontier'! (or posterior) Missed you and care about you. later, donna

Dbonza - I am mathematically challenged too - LOL. Wishing you clear navigation through the "New Frontier".

Elizabeth - It is a matter of balance. At some point - finding the time to get on here causes more stress than the benefit received. Yet, I know that finding the time is exactly what I need to do to succeed. Some days I feel like I am running in circles.

I can totally relate & have felt the same recently too. Sometimes we need to venture away to get back on track -- our under construction road, right? Great to have you back, my friend! Have a great weekend!

Yeah buffy! Maybe just take it a notch back? Just log food. You dont have to "keep up" with journals. That would be impossible for me. When I can't get on, I can't read many past journals. I just pick up from the day I get back. It is what it is, we do our best! You take care of YOU!!! HOpe that new person is working out well!!!

Hi, I understand, and I can relate to taking long breaks from here. FB has taken me off of here to my detriment - so I understand. One can play a game there if they want and get distracted. There are so many things to distract us from our 'goals' and that is the main problem with things now...

Ultimately, FS is supposed to HELP the process, not be yet another stressor in our lives. Sometimes, a break is what's needed so I hope you are now renewed and refreshed!!!!
