OK, back on board. Been doing 30 minutes on the treadmill every evening since Sunday. Had gained 5 pounds since my last weigh-in, but have now lost that along with another pound. Yay!
Yesterday took my division out to lunch at Logan's Steakhouse. Called the menu up on-line, and saw that they had a "Health-Nut" menu. I chose Mesquite Smoked Salmon, broccoli and side salad - less than 550 calories. It was delicious, and I stayed on track.
Been very busy with work, putting river flood contingency plans into operation, and then recovering from the contingency efforts. Flood didn't happen here in the factory, but it was a lot of work disassembling equipment, moving it to higher ground, and then moving it back to the factory and reassembling it.
Getting ready to remove and replace transmission in Step-daughter's car. Front wheel drive - Ugh! Would have rather just bought her another cheap car, but she's attached to the one she has since it is in otherwise good condition, and she paid it off.
Been building kitchen cabinets, fixing lawn mowers, mowing the lawn, pumping out the kid's basements, and other honey-do items. Have enjoyed reading everyone's journal notifications, but just haven't been spending much time at the computer.
