I haven't weighed myself in two days, and quite honestly, I have no desire to.
My stomach is sticking out like I am 9 months pregnant and I feel so bloated, I might float away! This is so frustrating, and I thought I would be well enough to do anything only a few days after surgery (as per what the doctor said)....
I am seeing now, that my hopes of entering into the Emperors Challenge in a couple weeks is going to be out of the question if I want to aviod a hernia from returning.
I have to really be good about things this time around because whenever I do things too early, I get hurt.
For instance, in 1994, when I had my gall bladder removed, I was told to be careful after the surgery. Yeah right! I had a 10 pound baby boy at that time and his father worked all day long. What was I going to do? Let him just sit there and cry? Right....
So, I ended up getting a hernia from all the lifting. Not a good scene. I was hurting so badly for so many years and so chicken to get the hernia operation, I waited until April of 2007 to finally get it!!!
And then, once I had that fiasco sorted out, my surgeon found out that I have Endometriosis from a polyp that was found at the site of the hernia.
So lucky me. I have too much to go through over the next few months...because a Hysterectomy is very probable.
