Liv Lite's Journal, 01 November 2019

I've overeaten so much: endless "fun"sized chocolate bars (nothing "fun" about them!), popcorn, high sodium foods; feel so off track. Gained weight this past week & not really concerned. Ignoring all my own advice! Been a rough go for past while & today, another letdown by a friend and I tried to eat somewhat healthy as I was overcome with emotion; wasn't successful. Not an excuse; I just feel tired of dieting and being stuck. Trying to shake it off. Tonight, I am sad. Have you ever felt this way? Just sharing; I know it's up to me. Tomorrow is a new day; this is a new month.

Yes I have times like this too- it’s ok! Don’t let an off week derail you, you’ve got this! Maybe give yourself permission to eat at maintenance for a few days so you don’t feel so restricted. ❤️🙌

😢 I think everybody has felt like this a different times. I know I have. I try so hard and then I screw up and then I fall off the wagon. And then I gain 5 lb that took me so long to lose. I shake my head at myself. I know we can't quit. We've got to just pick up and keep going. What choice do we have? We know too much now. If we quit we end up getting sick and diseased and obese. None of us want that. We've got to keep going. Keep trusting. Have faith. Everyone is here to encourage you. You're doing great.
