I didn't do a great job of cutting out sugar this week. That being said, the overall trend from the app that syncs with the fancy scale is going exactly as I want. I have not gotten enough sleep this week, either. This next week what I am putting in to make a difference (small, incremental change, remember?) is to experiment with new types of vegetables. I'm going to make some "chaffles" tomorrow. Sunday is my dad's birthday party, a dinner get-together at Olive Garden. Any suggestions on the best options there are appreciated!

I watched an interesting documentary on mindfulness meditation. I'm committing to practicing this more. The science behind how it has the ability to alter the brain and the many benefits that can be produced make it a worthwhile pursuit, IMO.

Happy birthday to your dad. Olive Garden has a grilled chicken margherita dish. Looks pretty good.

I would agree...go with a grilled meat option and avoid the breadsticks. 😃💖

Olive garden has a section of healthy choices, plus all menu items list calories. Good luck and enjoy yourself. 🌈🌈🌈

Olive garden was a success, though the portion sizes are still monstrous! I had zoodles with marinara, grilled veggies and chicken. It was delicious.
