I feel like I'm in a rut. I was doing so well for about the past 5 weeks & then took a romantic weekend away with my hubby. Well, I ate foods that I usually wouldn't, but I was still aware of my portions & calories. I know that I consumed an extra 800-1000 calories more than usual on both the days I was gone, but my scale wants to read that I've gained 2 lbs. NOT!!!

I'm just frustrated right now & feeling a bit vunerable to my cravings. After such a carefree weekend, I remembered what tastes I'd been missing. So even though I'm back to eating strictly again, I feel more angry about the bad foods I'm missing out on. I guess I'm trying to say that mentally I've lost some of my focus with healthy eating! I'm want to get it back, but I'm finding it really difficult these last few days. Patience is the key I'm sure!

I know what you mean! I kinda lost it for a few days and although I was careful I still wasnt actively trying . We all do it . The key is forgiving yourself and to remind yourself why you chose to change your way of life. I put a picture of myself when i looked good years ago up on my frig to remind myself of my goal . It makes me remember how I felt about myself back then and how easy it is to take that for granted . Im praying for strength for both of us .. I know we can do it ! Have a good weekend :)
