Crappy doodles! Normally I wouldn't say that about such an issue, but all the shorts I have for our trip to Maui are TOO BIG! Baggy sloppy sliding down the hips big.

I of course don't want to gain weight to fit into them, but where am I going to find shorts that fit at a reasonable price here in Portland OR in February?! We leave in about 2 1/2 weeks.

On a more normal-sounding & happier note, I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow and having a pedicure at a really nice spa on Saturday. I've figured out which prescriptions need to be filled when, my injectible meds will be delivered next Thursday, and my physical therapist sent in a report to my doctor so I can continue with PT (my prescription for it will be used up with Friday's appointment).

My pain level is down, my PT adapted my exercises & stretches & it's seeming to help. I did fine in Silver Sneakers today.

Friday we're going to see Swan Lake in excellent seats that were a gift from one of my partner's bosses. :o)

Old Navy, JC Penney, Kohls or higher end stores online. Saves time. Order a couple of sizes and send back the ones that you don't like. Since I am tall and wear a size tall/long this is my only mode of shopping. Good luck. Have fun at Swan Lake! Glad your pain level is down.

Easier to take your favorite shorts to a tailor and allow them to make them smaller! We have a tailor at the dry cleaning shop who does alterations inexensively!

I suppose if I ordered clothes online the would get here fairly quickly...my partner said "those new shorts we just bought a few weeks ago and you've never worn!? We'll just by you stuff when we get there". I haven't a clue what style or size of shorts would fit my new shape; I'll check out some online sites tomorrow. I have Maui Girl t-shirts from 2005 trip that fit fairly well.

You may try to sew them smaller by yourself! There are plenty of video tutorials on utube and it's fun! I did it with two pairs of trousers, they were so loose I was not going to wear them anyway, so I took the risk! And online shopping is also a very good option! There are websites were you can assess your actual size, they explain you exactly how to take measurements. I used them also to convert from Italian to German sizes, since they're all different.
