I think 28 is size 8. But go by how you look and feel, not the numbers. Evey body is different, so if you're happy with how you look, don't let the number convince you not to be :)

I'm with kate on this one. If you feel good and you're happy with what you're eating, just keep doing what you're doing.

If you hit 150 you will be probably past size 6. I am a 27, and I wear size 4/5. I agree with everyone else. If your hubby is saying you look good, then you probably look DAMN good.

Thanks for your help ladies. When I said I feel good I just meant I am getting smaller and that feels good. Now if I lose say 10 more I would really feel comfortable in my skin. Do yall ever have a feeling where u feel good but know it isn't where u want to b? So that why I think myb 145 might b too small. I didn't think I would look like this already. When I get to 150 I will see what my BMI is then if its a healthy range I will stop. Thank for the advice!

What is your height?

at 150 your BMI will be 25.0 - normal range for your height is 18.5 - 24.9 (111 lbs to 149.5 lbs)! So you would be just above normal.

I am 5'5 and 1/2 and my goal is 150. I will be in the normal range at 150, but I am going to get in the middle of the normal range rather than the end of the normal range. If I flucate (due to my TOM), I want to flucate in the normal range, not in and out of the overweight range. Also, do you know your percentage of fat and muscle?

I don't know any of those things. How do I find that out? Go to the doctors office? I just want to be healthy and toned. Does how much muscle you have affect your BMI?

google BMI calculator.

Yep. Google BMI and that will tell you. BMI is by far the easiest gauge to use. It is so helpful. Re: your percentage of fat and muscle, do you live in a large city? Many gyms can tell you...if you are not a member, the gym will probably do it for a fee. Also, my local hospital has a "weight management clinic" and they will also do it for a nominal fee. I paid $25. This department also told me how much of my weight was water weight. Lastly, muscle weighs more than fat,so if you are gaining more muscle, the BMI is going to be higher since it doesn't take muscle weight vs. fat weight into consideration (It just looks at "weight"). Often, women who gain muscle have an "overweight" BMI. However, if you don't have any of these things at your disposal, the BMI calculator is totally acceptable. Does this make sense? I don't want to make this too complicated.

Yes this makes sense. Thx! I now have a lot to think about because I do want to always stay in a normal, healthy range. I belong to 24 hour fitness. I will see if they could help with the fat muscle percentage. You all have been very helpful!!! Thanks!!!!
