I got asked a question today "are you making everyone feel bad." Apparently now that I've had my share of compliments for weight loss, now I'm getting resentment. As a fat guy I was a mesure against which people concluded they were fine, but now if "the fat guy can lose weight why can't I" attitude has surfaced.
A strange strange consequence, and not one I could have imagined in a million years.
Ah well, there jealousy is still a compliment :)
Now if I can just keep the drooling masses off my wife now that she's lost weight ;)

Good for you for staying focussed on YOU. Humans can be really reactive sometimes, projecting their own issues on others. There's a great song by Alana Davis that quotes: "God help you if you are an ugly girl, but too pretty is also your doom 'cause everyone harbours a secret hatred for the prettiest girl in the room. God help you if you are a pheonix and dare to rise up from the ash. A thousand eyes will smolder with jealousy while you are just flying back". Stay focussed and what a blessing to have a beautiful, healthy wife at your side!

I worry about that myself at times...if I walk into a room and there is a chubby girl and a thin girl right next to eachother I automatically feel at ease with the chunky girl and a little on gaurd with the thin one. I work in customer service and have been told how friendly and "nonthreatening" I am...will that all change if I get skinny?! Sounds like you are handling it awesomely and good luck!
