I read online that 60% carbs, 30% fat and 10% protein is a healthy ratio. It was from a climbing website. I wonder if that just counts for maintaining a weight? As a veggie, am I really ok if I can't seem to get my protein equal to fat? It would take a lot off my mind if it was. =) Because my sodium, fat and carbs are going through the roof as I try to get higher in protein!

Protein is essential to a diet so that seems a little off. I am on the bodybugg system and my target ratio is 60% carbs/20% fat/20% protein. What types of foods do you eat as a vegetarian? Are you vegan or eat chicken/fish? I was raised vegetarian until I turned 16 and we ate a lot of protein.

I dunno what is going on today - I can't seem to stop grabbing at food, even though I am not hungry. It is interesting but troubling. Hormonal, かな。 Just hope it passes!

I've been a veggie since 17 - and I usually eat tofu, eggs and yogurt for protein. =) I could probably swing 20% - that is heartening. I was worried it would have to be 33% for each category! Thank you!
